Karen Woodard

Ms. Karen Dorthea Woodard was born July 8, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Thomas Woodard and Johnnie Mae Knight. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Karen was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools and was a graduate of East High School.

She enjoyed playing cards, going to the Casino and spending time with her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by brother, Darryl Woodard, father, Thomas Woodard.

Those left to cherish her memories are Yuvonda, Terry Woodard, children, Tamekia (Felix) Hills, Nateasha Woodard, grandchildren, Secret Woodard (Tanisha), Velvety Williams, Jazmine Hills, Zy’Shu Hills, Lyric Woodard, Larissa Woodard, Anthony Ussery, Jr., great grandchildren, Genesis Rawlings, Jaliyah Hills, Anathony Ussery, III, Aceon Ussery, mother, Johnnie Mae Knight, devoted companion, George Wilson, a host of devoted friends, and a host of devoted aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as best friends.
