Katherine Jones

Ms. Katherine Jones was born on September 1, 1947, in White House, Tennessee to the union of Jewel and Edna Turner Jones. This peaceful life came to an end on Friday August 8, 2025, at her residence in Nashville, Tn.

Katherine accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was currently united with the Cowan Street Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Metro Nashville Davidson County Public Schools where she was a graduate of Stratford High School. Katherine was employed by Ford Motor Company in the Glass division for several years.

In her spare time Kat enjoyed fishing and going to the Casino. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her, parents, Jewell and Edna Jones.

She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her memory her one and only daughter, Teresa Jones, grandchildren, YeTodika, Taurix (Monique) Marcirea (Bk) Jones inherited grandchildren Jay (Shreika) Roper Jamie Roper and the late Deyonnia Roper great grandchildren Antonio and YeTaviea Carter, Marzeion and Arkevia Jones, Mariyeah Olstein, Levi Jones, Darin Hays, Jr. and Kentreion Jones, Inherited great-grandchildren, Mia Vaughn, Jay, Jayda, Jewelri, Jewel, She'Ricke, Nylan, Tierra and DeMiyah Roper and Isom Moreland great great grandchildren A'rayah and A'riyah Smith and A'layah, A'Carrie, A'mari, Amani Carter and Adrian Jones, dear close friends Margret Ann Dobbins (Eugene) Scruggs , Peggy Swanson Janie (June) Scaggs and daughter Reda Lorine Webb, Lenora Bush, and Ruby Wallace and Oscar Hawkins and a host of dear relatives and friends.
