Katie Dobson Perkins

Ms. Katie Dobson Perkins was born September 28, 1931 to the union of Mayor Dobson and Lula Mae Holt Dobson in Brentwood, Tennessee. She was called to her final resting place Wednesday. March 27, 2022.

Ms. Katie accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was educated in Davidson County Public Schools, attending Pearl High School.

Ms. Katie was united in Holy Matrimony to John Perkins, they enjoyed many years of marriage, until his passing. Katie was a homemaker and a housewife, she enjoyed sewing, crafts, and taking care of and spending time with her family.

Ms. Katie was preceded in death by her parents Lula and Mayor Dobson, and her daughter Sherron Prince.

She leaves to cherish her memories her nephew, William H. (Elaine) Dobson, niece, Dorothy (Dwight) Tidwell, great nephews, Patrick Dobson, James Lockridge, Mandel (Sheila) Wells, Calvin Wells, Mark (Channell) Wells, great great niece, Tyana Dobson, cousin, Mary Pearl Campbell, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Monday, April 4, 10-11 with funeral to follow at funeral home
