Kennie Pirtle

Kennie Eugene Pirtle was born January 3, 1961, in Obion, Tennessee to the union of Roosevelt Pirtle and Shirley DePriest. His life came to an end on Monday, November 24, 2025, at his residences in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kennie accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was united with the St. James Baptist Church.

Kennie was a graduate of North High School and continued his education by attending Tennessee State University.

Kennie held several jobs to include Pizza Hut and Construction. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music.

Kennie leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Shirley Johnson, sisters, Dorothy Beasley, and Trina Kennedy as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
