Kevin DeWitt Ford Sr. was born on June 30, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Thelma (Wright) Seay and Homer Ford. He departed this life on Friday, May 5th, 2023.
Kevin accepted Christ at an early age, while attending 14th Avenue Baptist Church. He was educated in Metro Nashville Davidson County Public Schools, graduating from Hillsboro High School. After high school he obtained his Barber License and his Commercial Driving License.
Kevin worked in Trucking. He enjoyed music, motorcycles, new adventures, road trips, estate sales, and spending time with family and friends.
To know Kevin was to love him. He had a way of making you mad, just to turn around and make you laugh. He was optimistic about life. Never letting anyone stop him from living. He loved his family, keeping those family cheeks high. We always said, he had a big personality and the heart of a lion. He could walk into the room although he was small, he was the tallest man there. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him!!!
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma Seay and Homer Ford.
He leaves to cherish his memories stepfather, Charles Seay, daughters, Kashion and Ke’Airra, son, Kevin “Junior”, sisters, Deidre, Karen, Katrina, Kathy, nephews, Houston, Dallas, devoted companion, Angela, devoted cousin, Jerome, and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.
