Larry Brown

Mr. Larry Brown was born July 21, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Minister Willy Brown, Jr. and M.A. Brown. He was called home suddenly on August 2, 2024.

Larry was baptized as a teenager into the Sough Hill Church of Christ. He devoted his remaining years committing his time to the Inner-City Church of Christ, volunteering for the Lord’s Supper and assisting handicapped patrons to and from buses. He would always help where needed.

Larry attended Nashville public Schools. He was a Short Order Cook for Bob Evans, Shoney’s and Waffle House Restaurants. He was good at what he did.

Larry relocated to Nort Carolina but returned to Nashville where he retired as a forklift Operator for Waste Management.

In his spare time, he enjoyed music and played keyboard and piano. He enjoyed the outdoors and could sit for hours fishing and camping. Larry spent his last days with family. Gathering often expressing his love for family and friends and especially in the house hold of faith (Inner City Church of Christ) He always adored his family and would express how blessed he was to have a great family and good friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Minister Willy Brown, Jr. and M.A. Brown, siblings, Walter Brown, Jr., Fredrick Brown, Sr., Lorraine Brown, Teresa Johnson, Bevizum and Audrey Brown.

Larry leaves to cherish his memories his siblings, Kenneth and Dewayne Brown, Glenda Denise Brown and Cheryl Israel.
