The world grew a little dimmer on March 3, 2026, when Lavoy Sales exchange this earthly life for eternal peace. Though his passing was sudden, it was peaceful, and while his time now feels heartbreakingly short, his impact was nothing short of amazing. Born on July 10, 1970, in Nashville, Tennessee. to the late Mai Helen Shelton and John L. Sales, Lavoy ----affectionately known to many as Shell was a force of nature wrapped in love, laughter, and a lot of spunk. At the heart of Lavoy's life was his family who he had a deep rooted love for. He was a devoted husband, father, future grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to spend time with his family, laugh and go fishing on the lake. If you knew Lavoy Sales, you'd know he loved to laugh and have fun.
Lavoy lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with joy and purpose. His lives on in every life he touched and every soul he lifted along the way. As we say our final goodbyes, remember the joy he brought into our lives and the love he shared with everyone he met. His love will continue to inspire us. Lavoy was a man of faith and a believer in Jesus Christ. As scripture Matthew 25:21 reminds us, "Well done, good and faithful servant into the joy of your Lord."
Lavoy Sales leaves to cherish his memory, his beautiful devoted Wife Crystal Sales. He is also survived by his loving children Keyera Sales, Kayla Sales and Lavoy Wimberly. His legacy continues through his children and soon to be first grand child affectionately known as "Baby Girl."
