Leslie Jerome Howard, Jr. was born on October 16, 1959, in Williamson County, Tennessee to Leslie and Elvira Howard.
Leslie received his education in the Williamson County Public School System. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. His faith remained strong throughout his life.
Leslie was united in holy matrimony on June 25, 1988, to the love of his life, Vanessa Cambell Howard. Together they built a life filled with love, family and cherished memories.
Leslie was known for his love of car detailing, a hobby he truly enjoyed and took great pride in. Before his illness, he was employed by Von Elrods where he dedicated himself to his work with the same care and commitment he showed in every aspect of his life.
Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the many memories he leaves behind Leslie’s kindness, love and presence will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Leslie and Elvira Howard, his brothers, Larry Howard and Wayne Howard.
Those left to cherish his precious memories are his devoted wife, Vanessa Cambell Howard, daughter, Donzaleigh Campbell (Phillip), sons, Terrell Howard Hayes and Leslie Larome Howard (Asya), 10 grandchildren, brothers, Charles Howard (Vanessa), and Ronnie Eugene Howard, Sr., sister, Mary Cathelene Howard, 2 nieces, 5 nephews, brothers-in-law, Henry and Leon Campbell, sisters-in-law, Brenda Johnson (Stephen) and Gail Campbell as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He also shared a special bond with his devoted niece, Donyall Howard and his beloved nephew, Ronnie Howard, Jr.
