Linda Ruth Trotter

Linda Trotter 72 of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026. Born to Adeline Ruth Stone and Shirley Eugene Calloway. Linda devoted stay at home mom and church member.

She was known for her gentle spirit, gathering where she loved to cook and the joy she found being with family. She treasured times with her sons and grandchildren and great grandchildren was a constant source of laughter and warmth, strength and kindness. Linda joined  Mt. Herman Missionary Baptist Church in 2010 under the leader ship of Pastor Dorsey Hopson. She was very active in the church participating as a State Missionary, District Missionary and Choir member.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Trotter Sr. (Oscar Lee Lillard), brother Ira Stone, and son, Christopher Eugene Trotter her angels.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Michael Trotter, William Trotter Jr., and Timothy Trotter. 15 grandchildren. A host of sisters and brother. One god daughter (Marie). Best friends Beverly, Gale, Sister Donna, sister in law, Carolyn Stone and many more. A host of nieces and nephews.

Linda’s legacy of love and compassion and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
