Mrs. Lovie Juanita Hambrick Huddleston was born September 25, 1940, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents, Howard and Ethel Hambrick. This sweet life came to an end on Friday, February 6, 2025, surrounded by her family at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lovie was baptized in a watery grave at an early age at the 6th Street Church of Christ now Ramsey Street Church of Christ. She was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools where she attended Meigs Junior High School and Nashville Christian Institute (NCI). She served as a secretary for NCI for a number of years.
Lovie was involved with several organizations including Antler Guard for Grand Temple of the Elks, Spencer Jackson Temple # 763 United School Workers as Treasury and as a Election Poll Worker.
She was employed by Woolsworth, Vanderbilt Hospital and Nashville Electric Service where she retired after 26 years of service in 2006.
Some of Lovie’s hobbies included traveling, bowling, bingo and just spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ethel Hambrick, Mamie Webster Hambrick, sister Elizabeth Bolden.
She leaves to celebrate her life and memories children, Antonio J. (Pam) Hambrick and Regina D. Hambrick, granddaughter, TeNisha L. Hambrick(Darius), great grandchildren, Jaylen, Brandon, and Alisa, brother, Theophlis Elwood Patton, California, bonus grandchildren, Donnelle Carr (Wanda), Carlos Carr (Tameria), Terrance Burkeen (Susanna), Shavonda Burkeen (Dennis), Arenthia Burkeen(Chris), a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, friends and the Webster Family.
