Preceded in death by her husband, Grant Bowers, Sr. She is survived by her 9 children, Peggy Mooreland, Nashville, Gwendolyn (Joe Thomas) Tyler, Clarksville, Dorothy (Robert) Benton, Nashville, Grant (Benetta) Bowers, Jr., Nashville, Justice B. Stevens, Switzerland, Florence B. Rice, Nashville, Charlie (Faye) Bowers, Nashville, Carolyn (Ronnie) Majors, Ashland City, Linda (Joseph) Towner, Sr., Nashville; two sisters, Delora Butler, St. Louis, MO and Betsy Rogers, Flint, MI; three sisters-in-law, Doris Anderson, Detroit, MI, Esther B. Stevens, Washington, DC and Lucille Bowers, Stone Mountain, GA; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, many relatives and dear friends.
