The world grew a little dimmer on January 29, 2026, when Mary Rosetta Bryant exchanged this earthly life for eternal peace. Though her passing was sudden, it was peaceful, and while her time here now feels heartbreakingly short, her impact was nothing short of amazing.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Yulonda Bryant; granddaughter, Brittany Bryant; sisters, Willie Pearl Williams, Catherine Russ, Mamie Corn, and Ethel Reid: Brothers William Russ Jr., James Russ, and Samuel Russ. Celebrating her life forever, though sincerely missing her are her daughter Monica Bryant; son, Robert Bryant Jr.; Bonus son, Kelvin Owens; grandchildren, Tyree, Brandon, Ryan Bryant, Kiara Owen, Ladarius Carroll, Dominique, and Deandre Bryant, and Kyndell Owen; great-grandchildren, Tyree Jr., Ryan Jr., Sami, Krys, Detorian, Torris, Journei, Jonelle, Jeleigha, Shiloh, Antorian, Marissa, and Phoenix. She is also lovingly remembered by her devoted friends, Shirley Cannon and Edna Page, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, and dear friends.
