Maurice "Donnie" Broome

Mr. Maurice “Donnie” Broome was born December 11, 1951, in Germantown, Tennessee to the union of Myles Broome and Mildred Brewer Broome. This beautiful life ended on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly Tennessee.

Maurice was educated in the Shelby County Public Schools. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and was currently united with First Baptist Church South Inglewood.

‘Donnie” as he was affectionately called by his friends and family married the love of his life Clara Craig. This love has continued to grow over the years.

Donnie was employed as a Fabricator with Avco/ Textron Aerostructure for more than 15 years.

Donnie leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving wife, Clara Broome, daughter, Tonya (Odie) Clinkscale, sons, Antwain and Courtney Broome, sister, Carolyn, five grandchildren, Amber, Autum, Destiny, Olivia and Antwain, Jr., one great-granddaughter a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends who loved him very much.
