Melvin Eugene Collins "Sweet Tooth"

Melvin Collins “Sweet Tooth” was born June 25, 1952, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee to Milton Hale Collins Sr. and Mary Odessa Collins.  He departed this life on Sunday, November 19, 2023.

Melvin was educated in Metro Nashville Public Schools. He was employed with Jones Construction Company and Smith Bros Car Wash.

Melvin enjoyed football, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents Milton Hale Collins Sr. and Mary Odessa Collins, brother Herbert Linwood Collins, and sister, Juanita Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memories loving sons, Shawn (Rasheedah) Anglin, Alonzo D. Paige, and Timothy Lamont Paige, sisters, Patricia Ann Massey, Jacquelyn (Rick) Denning, and Arminnie (Winston0 Shaw, devoted friend, Jackie Daniels, and a host of grandchildren great grandchildren, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
