Meshelda Thompson "Shell"

Meshelda Ann Thompson was born July 18, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents, William Kendricks and Willie may Hubert Kendricks. She departed this fruitful life on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Meshelda was educated in the Nashville, Davidson County Public Schools and was a 1975 graduate of Maplewood High School. She continued her education attending Nashville State Community College where she received an Associate's Degree.

"Shell" as she was affectionately called by her family and friends was employed as an Ultrasound Technician at Metro General Hospital for Several Years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, and taking trips, especially cruises. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, William L. Kendricks, Sr., brother, William L. Kendricks, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving son, Christopher Kirkland, devoted mother, Willie Mae Kendricks, other family members, Kim (Kenny) Jones-McEwen, John (Shannon) Hubbert, and several other family, friends and loved ones.
