Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson was born on September 15, 1953, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents, John and Irene Johnson. The Lord called him home and welcomed him with open arms on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Michael received his formal education in the Nashville Davidson County Public School System. After high school he enlisted in the armed forces.

He accepted Christ in his life at an early age and loved serving the Lord.

Michael enjoyed life, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, parents, John and Irene Johnson, brother, James Jordan and sisters Bonita Johnson-Collins.

He leaves to cherish his memories, he loving and devoted wife, Inoelia “Inky”, daughter, Dovie Ann Last, Nashville, Tn., son, Micheal (Zakia) Witherspoon State, Portland, OR., daughter, Dimika Casteel, Nashville, Tn., 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother, Fred Jordan, Woodbury, Tn., brothers-in-law, Victor (Donna), Mario (Cindy), Reymundo, Armando, Gina Mireles, Ohio and Orlando Edwards, sister-in-law, Delores and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
