Milani McKay Cloyd

Milani McKay Cloyd was born in Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt Medical Center on June 2, 2022 to the union of Danielle Cloyd and LeQontae Jordan. She departed life peacefully late night on Saturday, July 2, 2022.

Milani accepted Christ on the day she departed from earth and gained her heavenly wings. She was baptized by Pastor Leon Parker at Unity Christian Methodist Episcopal Church on July 2, 2022. Milani was the definition of a true fighter.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Halbert Poole, Jr. and Gary Palmer, great grandmothers, Rosa Finney and Marilyn Jordan, uncles Michael Perkins Jr., Halbert Poole III, Jerry Jordan, cousin, Ja’Miyiah Compton- Palmer.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, devoted mother Danielle Cloyd, father LeQontae Jordan; grandmothers, Deborah Morehead, and Tonette Jordan; grandfather Daniel Cloyd; uncles, Lamont Morehead, Ja’don Palmer, Jamar Black; God grandmother, Tomika Blake, Godmother, Briana Blake, God auntie, Aryanna Blake, God uncles Olajuwon Jones, Omariyan Jones, great grandmother, Viola Poole, Annette Evans; great grandfather, Halbert Poole Sr.; aunts, Jo’Miyha Jordan, Ze’Corya Jordan, Toni Jordan, Latika Poole, cousins, Ja’ Dasia Palmer, Jayonna Palmer, Ja’ Don Palmer Jr., Ziyah Jackson, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Thursday,July 14, 2022 (3-6pm ). Funeral: Friday, July 15,2022, 10-11 with funeral to follow at funeral home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery North
