Ms. Minnie Mae Brown was born in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of James Brown and Emma Louise Neely. This sweet life came to an end on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Minnie was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age.

Minnie loved dancing and cooking with the people she loved the most. It did not matter if she was at the kitchen table or enjoying a family celebration, she was always the life of the party. She had a gift of making everyone feel welcomed.

In her quieter moments, she enjoyed watching Days Of Our Lives, The Young and Restless and Prices Right. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who had the joy of seeing her family grow through four generations. Her love will continue to live on through each generation.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, James Brown and Emma Neely, siblings, Troy, John, James Jr., Mildred and Marilyn Brown, children, Barbara Wallace, James Brown and Gwendolyn Sanders.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her children, Maurice, Virginia, Dorothy, Eddie and Russell Brown, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other cherished family members and dear friends.
