Nina Wesley

Ms. Nina Mae Hall Wesley was born January 2, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois to the union of William Herring and Emma Hall. On July 6, 2026, Heaven gained the most amazing angel.

Nina was the 2nd child born to her mother. She attended several schools in Chicago. She relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where she attended High School. After graduation she attended Roosevelt University in Chicago where she met the love of her life Loren Wesley. The two were married and enjoyed several years of marriage and two children were born to this union.

In her younger days Nina worked as a dispatcher for Yellow Cab Company. She also worked at Sears and Robuck as a clerk. Shortly after these employments she tested for a caseworker position with the state of Illinois. Nina was blessed to retire after 40 years in that position at age 70.

In 2007, Nina relocated to Nashville. She enjoyed shopping and would often take the MTA with her shopping buddy Zeda Riggs and go on shopping sprees. She was a diehard shopper.

Nina touched the lives of so many people of all generations. She treated everyone with kindness.

Nina was a compassionate person. She would even give aid to others who were in the nursing home alongside of her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and William Hall, husband, Loren A. Wesley, grandson, Marc

Those left to celebration her life and miss her dearly are her children, Anthony A. (Julia) Wesley, Charlotte D. Wesley and Doris M. McDonald, 8 grandchildren, Mischa, Tenille, Tony, Gregory, Evan, Noelle, Michael and Jason, 8 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, Barbara and Erma as well as several other relatives and friends.
