Orlando Duane Phillips

Mr. Orlando Duane Phillips was born August 23, 1962, in Nashville, Tennessee to J.D. Patton and Gladys Johnson. This fruitful life came to an end on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his residence in Greenbrier, Tennessee.

Orlando was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools. He accepted Christ at an early age and later dedicated his life to Christ as an adult.

Orlando met his first love Cynthia at the age of 13. They reunited after 33 years and went on to marry on December 8, 2012. This union was made in heaven. They prayed for each other, and God brought this awesome love together and made them an example of love and dedication. They blended their families and lived life to its fullest.

Orlando was a very proud “Paw Paw” He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. They loved him back. He always wanted the best for his entire family; he would be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Patton and Gladys Johnson, brothers, J.D. Patton, Jr., Micheal, Gary and sister, Betty, sisters in law, Lucile Phillips and Linda Phillips.

Those left to celebrate his life and cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife of 13 years, Cynthia Phillips, daughters, Daphne Waller, Reshondrea Bradley and sons, ZaCorie Ridley, Sr., Joshua (Sharonda) Moore, Randy Bradley and Timothy Dismukes, Jr., devoted siblings, Judith Phillips, James (Gail) Johnson, William Phillips, Ernest Phillips, Kent (Patrease) Phillips, a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
