Patricia Ann Jackson

Patricia Ann Hambrick Jackson was born on April 13, 1942, to the late James P. Hambrick and Sarah L. Sims. She peacefully transitioned from this life on June 3, 2025. Patricia was united in holy matrimony to Robert Boyd Jackson, Jr., who preceded her in death. Together, they were blessed with seven children, one of whom, Kevin Lamont Jackson, also preceded her in death.

Pat attended Camron High School, where she proudly served as the lead majorette. She was a dedicated member and spiritual mother at Christ Is The Light Church in Ashland City, TN, under the guidance of Pastor Thomas Jackson. Pat was honored with the title of “Mother of the Year” at the church, a testament to her devotion. She continued to be an active member until her health made it difficult for her to attend. For more than 20 years, Pat worked with loyalty and commitment at the Opryland Hotel and Convention Center. She had a love for cooking, traveling, and, most of all, spending quality time with her family. Above everything, Pat was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. Her home was always welcoming to family and friends, and there were times when she had to prepare meals on the fly, making sure to stretch every dish.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Robert (Jeannette) Jackson, Gerald (Wanda) Jackson, Lori (Richard) Dixon, Montel Jackson, Kim (Jacqueline) Jackson, Karen Hardy; her brothers, Melvin (Lillian) Hambrick, Ronald (Brenda) Hambrick; her beloved uncle, Benjamin Sims; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren (1 preceded her in death), and 1 great-great grandson. She also leaves behind her devoted friend, Carol Burns, and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever remember her kindness, strength, and love.

Patricia’s life was a testament to her faith, devotion to family, and her caring spirit. She touched the lives of many, and her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
