Patricia Ann Moore was born to the late Leroy and Mable Moore. She was the first of their eleven children.

She is survived by Brothers, Leon Moore(Cynthia), Robert Moore(Gladys), Harold Moore, Ernest Moore(Pam) and Ronnie Moore, and brother-in-law, Ronnie Greer, (Faye), Sisters, Sandra Moore, Lucille Moore and Donna Gray(Robert) and sister-in-law Isolene Greer.
Patricia was also preceded in death by daughter, Marion Reed(Trent), son, Eddy Lamont Jobe, Jr. and Wayne Reed, grandsons, Robert Lamont Reed(Chandra), Martin Luther Reed and David Jordon.
Patricia, had nothing but love for all of her siblings and their spouses/partners and they were not in-laws to her, they were her family as well. Just like her extended family, Morgan’s, Petway’s Pinkston’s, Alexander’s and more last names, than I can name, even though they were cousins, they all greeted her as their aunt as she was loved by all.
Patricia, worked for years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and retired in 2014. Ms. Pat, as she was affectionately called, was a staple of warmth when anyone came to The Vanderbilt Clinic, she would greet them with the warmest smile and do everything in her power, to make sure your visit was awesome
Patricia has always known the Lord and spent the majority of her life at Watson Grove Missionary Babtist Church, where she served as an usher then mother. She loved the Lord and was always excited about talking about Him and sharing His word as well as her church family, she swore by The Grove and her Pastor, Pastor Faison.
The other thing our mother loved to do was travel and she had a group of ladies that she traveled with several times of the year until her health started to fail. We named them STS, Sassy Traveling Sisters as they were always on the go and her best friend Ms. Vela Battle, was always with her.
Patricia also loved her husband Eddy, with everything in her, because he took care of her, like she was his queen, he made all of her meals, even the things, we said she couldn’t have, he spoiled her, by buying things she did not need like 2-3 tablets, ice makers, computers, if she named it, he got it for her, I guess she loved him a lot, because she married him twice!
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories a very devoted family: Husband Eddy L. Jobe, Sr., Sons, Stearnes L. Reed(Lynn), Ernest Reed(Trina), James, Ernest P, and Eric Jobe, daughters, Portia Reed(Lamont), Ulricka Miller(Sam), Gloria Reed, Sheila Jobe, Linda Whitfield and Vanessa Cain(Clyde “Kinnie”),
Our mom has 20 grandchildren, but over 30 great-grandchildren and several great-grands! There has been no lack of help over this last year caring for her, but we must give some love to her granddaughters Emoni Delight Barnes and Natalie Elizabeth Gilbert, who faithfully, were there every Monday, Wednesday and Friday to give her, her baths that she loved so much and we could not leave out Emoni’s best friend Prentice “Rocki” Chandler, who always made it over to help out with anything, her play granny needed.
I would be remised if I did not mention her prayer call group, that she faithfully, called in to every Monday and Thursday nights, in the hospital or not, she wanted to participate, so we personally want to thank those that continued to give her life, Minister Claudia Wright, Minister Pamela Lewis, Minister Chantea Kirkwood and Deacon Loren and Sister Berneice Willis along with many more.
