Pearlie accepted Christ at an early age and united with Hose Temple. She was educated in Alabama public schools attending Washington Junior High.

Pearlie was employed Metro Nashville Davidson County Public Schools as a Cafeteria Worker for 30 years, until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Deborah Brown, Barbara Armstrong, brother, Jimmy Nance, grandchildren, Dominique, Davis, DeMarcus Davis, Timmy Armstrong, Tammy Armstrong, Ronald Armstrong Jr., Charles Davis Jr., a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
