Peggy Hill Pride

Peggy Hill Pride was born June 17, 1934, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Herchel Hill and Catherine Thompson Hill. This sweet life came to an end on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Nashville Health and Rehabilitation on Wedgewood in Nashville, Tennessee.

Peggy was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools and was a 1951 graduate of Pearl High School.

She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and was an avid believer of treating people as you would want to be treated.

She married Ralph L. Pride, Sr. in 1966 and 2 beautiful children were born to this union.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, parents, Herschel Hill and Catherine Hill, sisters, Martha Reynolds, Eloise Witherspoon, brothers, Lloyd Cannon, Hubert Cannon and Theodore Hill.

Those left to cherish her memories are her loving and devoted children, Ralph C. Pride, Jr., and Patricia Pride, 6 grandchildren, Patrick Pride, Jeffrey Pride, Chakirean Pride, Alexandria Davis (Ronnie), Moriah McAdoo, and Hannah Pride, 17 great-grandchildren, sister, Patricia Hill, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
