Mr. Ricky Nelson Carter was born July 21, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents Eugene Carter and Emma Carter. Ricky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Ricky was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public School System. He continued his education by attending Technical School.
Ricky married the love of his life Sherry Chambers on August 21, 2021. They enjoyed their lives with much love and laughter, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Ricky was employed by Reality Auto Sales for over eleven years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cars, crafts, woodworking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Sherry Carter, stepchildren, Shawn, Mark, AJ, Kayla and Alannah, 8 grandchildren, brothers, Jesse Carter and Tony Carter many other relatives and friends.
