Ronald Nelson Williams, Jr. began his earthly life on October 16, 1970, in Nashville, Tennessee, born to the late Ronald Nelson Williams, Sr. and Gladys Lee Coleman Williams. Ron Jr. joined his parents, paternal grandparents: Nelson Frank Williams and Claronia Williams; maternal grandparents: Lawrence C. Coleman, Sr. and Ada Coleman; and aunts: Gwendolyn Coleman, Denise Williams, Zandra Williams, & Yvonne “Bonnie” Thomas, and play sister, Panta Jordan in his heavenly transition on June 25, 2026.

Ron Jr. accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at a very early age at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church. He, in later years, joined in fellowship with John Wesley United Methodist Church.

Ron Jr. received his education in the Metro Nashville Public School system. Ron Jr., because of his height, received the same nickname as his big sister, Bird, together they were known as Bird and Big Bird; and they were known to handle business on the basketball court. He was also known as a “Gentle Giant” by his classmates.

In his adult life, Ron Jr. was in the janitorial services industry where he cleaned many banks and gyms. It was through this work that he found ways to bond & spend time with his son, stepdaughters, and nephews because they would help him cleanfrom time to time and they enjoyed it.

To have known Ron Jr. was to love him. He was family-oriented and would help you if he could. Ron Jr. was known to his family as Big Guy, Ronnie and/or BooBoo. One of his favorite holidays was the 4th of July where he would invite family & friends over for a cookout and to pop fireworks.

Left to cherish many memories of Ron Jr. is his only son, LaRon C. Williams; devoted longtime partner, Pamela Dennis;stepdaughters: Angelica Dennis, Allyson & Aleigha Gainor; loving big sister, Kara E. Williams (Rueben); 4 nephews: Larry Barnhill, Jr., Steven L. Nelson (Elette), Terrell P. and Jerrell M. Nelson; only uncle, Reverend Lawrence C. Coleman, Jr. (Fannie); 7 step grandchildren; 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew; play siblings: Chris & Mia Sims and Angela Farrell; bonus daughter, Victoria Harris; and a host of cousins, other relatives, friends, & Pearl-Cohn c/o 1988.
