Ronnie Lee Lightfoot

August 7, 1948 — March 16, 2026

Ronnie Lee Lightfoot, the firstborn son of the late Mary Drew and the late Doc Lightfoot, was born on August 7, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee. He departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, faith, and deep love for his family.

At an early age, Ronnie was baptized and developed a lifelong commitment to studying the Bible. His faith remained an important part of his life. Ronnie embraced life fully and found joy in simple pleasures. He enjoyed bicycling, dancing, listening to music, and playing basketball, a sport he truly loved.

Ronnie received his education through the Nashville Public School System and later attended Tennessee State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Throughout his life, Ronnie was a hardworking man who was employed at Square D and held several other positions in the Nashville area, always striving to provide and persevere.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Drew, and his father Doc Lightfoot; his sisters, Mary S. Allen and Angela Allen; his stepfather, Thomas Allen; and his aunt, Birdie Baugh.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving children: a devoted daughter, Larondria (Rayshawn) Frazier; and beloved sons, Hezron and Ronnez Lightfoot. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Ryan and Raylen Frazier, and Ky’lin Lightfoot.

Ronnie also leaves to mourn his passing his brothers: Thomas Allen, Steven Allen, Johnathan Allen, and Barney Drew; and his sisters: Jeannie (Reginald) Hawkins, Beverly Waters, Cheryl (Larry) Green-Strong, and Donna Allen. He will also be fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his devoted caregivers: his girlfriend, Tracy Scates; his sister, Donna Allen; Alive Hospice; and the VA Hospital for the compassion and care shown to Ronnie.

The family also extends heartfelt gratitude to all family and friends for their visits, calls, prayers, and expressions of love during this difficult time.
