Rufus G Davidson

Rufus Greydling Davidson, Sr, was born on April 27, 1951, to Ernest and Mary Frances Davidson.  He transitioned from his earthly life on October 4, 2023.

Rufus G. Davidson Sr, was preceded in death by his parents; Ernest and Mary Davidson, sisters - Shirley and Jean Davidson and brothers - John Patton and Karseen Davidson.

He received his education through the Davidson County School System, where he graduated from Bellvue High School.  He was a faithful member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church.  He worked for Sealtest Ice Cream Company, Trimac, and Motor Convoy, whose name later changed to Allied Systems.

Rufus believed he was a great fisherman, grillmaster, and expert at frying fish.  He felt he was a master mechanic and good at everything.

Rufus is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly Davidson, daughter; Cheryl T. Davidson-Martin, son, Rufus Jr.(Karesa)Davidson, brothers; Charles Sr. (Sandra) Davidson, Metric Davidson and Keith (Linda) Price, Sister Veronica Tolbert, Granddaughter; LaChanta(Demetrick) Norment, Grandsons; Saivien and Kingsten Davidson; Great Granddaughters; Londyn and Jordyn Norment and Sister-in-laws; Pearl Davidson, Karen Davidson, Helen Ross, Mattie(Sam) Nichols, Cynthia Merritt and Carrie(Kenneth) Nunn, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, former coworkers and Best Friends, Jerry Thompson and Billy Hicks,
