Sara Frances Smith-Lofton

Sara Francis Lofton was born June 26, 1937 to the late Mary Smith and Willie Hughes in Murfreesboro, TN. Sara worked as a housekeeper for John & Janene Ezell for many years and considered them and their children as family. She loved them dearly. She also served as a Mother of Crystal Fountain Church Sara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, feeding the ducks at Shelby Park, and laughing at good comedy shows. She also enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and nieces and nephews and always kept goodies in her purse for every child. Sara is proceeded in death by her husband Clarence Lofton of 49 years, and her brothers John Eddie Batton and William Knight. Cherishing the memories of her life, yet saddened by her passing is her devoted son, John Small (Debra). Sara leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Kyron Small (Kim), Jon Jon Small, Chanee Davis (Stephen), Daerrell Small (Natasha), Lamont Small (Caroline), and Rebekah Small, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren, Sister-in law and Best Friend Esther Knight, Sister-in laws, Ruby Woodson and Georgia Lofton, Nieces Gina Morales and Elizabeth Knight and Nephew Matthew Knight, great nephews, Caleb and Keith and a host of other relatives & friends. Viewing Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, 1-5. Visitation Wednesday, February 16, 2022, 12-1 with funeral to follow at funeral home.
