Mrs. Sharon Juanita Pittman Jones was born November 6, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Harold Pittman and Helen Brown Crawford Pittman. Sharon departed this sweet peaceful life on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at her residence in Nashville, Tennessee.
Sharon was educated in the Nashville Metropolitan Davidson County Schools. She was a 1975 graduate of Pearl High School and continued her education by attending Tennessee State University.
Sharon professed a hope in Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She currently maintained a membership at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Enoch Fuzz.
Sharon was employed in the Healthcare field for over 30 years retiring from Tri Star Centennial Medical Center in 2020.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen Pittman, son, Dominick Jones, Sr., sister, Linda Pittman Benish, aunt, Bennie J. Sanders, and nephew James Cox, Jr.
Those left to celebrate her love and memories are her husband, Larry Jones, Sr., loving son, Larry Jones, Jr., step-daughter, Cheryl Jones, brother, Kenneth (Sherry) Pittman, Sr., grandchildren, Dominick Jones, Jr., D’Wayne Venable, Deontay Foster, LaMaechen Jones, Larry Jones, III, Lyric Jones, Landis Jones, C’Niphia (Jason) Deville, C’ynaia Pate, six great-grandchildren, devoted niece, Kenya Cox-McEwen, a devoted bonus daughter, Elaine Darden, brothers-in-law, Buford (Liz) Jones, William Jones, Michael Jones and Benjamin Jones, sisters-in-law, Annie Ruth Blair, Jane (Frank), Ruby Jones and Clara Jones, childhood friends, Diana Franklin, the entire Lillard Family, The Booker Street Family and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
