Shirley Jean Manning-Allen

Shirley Jean Manning- Allen was born on October 12, 1945 in Carthage, Tennessee to the union of Edna Manning and Albert Jennings. She departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2021.
Shirley accepted Christ and was a member of Dicktown Methodist Church. She received her formal education in Carthage Tennessee Public Schools, attending Turner High School.
Shirley was employed at Bordeaux Long Term Care in Nashville, Tennessee. She enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, and listening to music.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Allen, her parents Edna Manning and Albert Jennings, her daughter Sherry Allen, and her grandson Tyquruss Allen.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories sons Perry (Michelle) Allen, Robert Allen, daughter Kimberly Allen, siblings Larry (Billie) Carter, James Leftridge, Beverly (Larry) Davis, Deborah Leftridge, Karen Fisher, Efren Leftridge, Christopher Leftridge, 14 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren, God daughter Regina Vaughn, devoted niece Ladwyina Walls, family friend Terona Cunnings, cousin Elaine Copeland.Visitation Wednesday November 24, 2021, 1-2pm with funeral to follow at Terrell Broady Funeral Home.
