Shirley Louise White

Shirley Louise White was born on October 3^rd, 1952 to the late James White Sr. and the late Louise Douglas Roland, she made her transition from this earthly life to her eternal life on Saturday, May 13^th, 2023, from a long battle due to a chronic illness.

Shirley was educated in Metropolitan Nashville School System. In Shirley’s early life she was raised and brought up in church as a child. She was a bright and shining star in which she was such a joy to be around. Everybody loved Shirley, not because of what she could or could not do, but for who she was as a person. Shirley was a kind and loving person beyond measures and she will be sincerely missed by many.

Shirley’s greatest hobby was cooking. She enjoyed listening to music and playing cards with her friends. Just being able to hangout with family and friends made her life worth living. Shirley loved and adored her parents with all her heart especially her mother.

Cosmetology is what she enjoyed doing in her professional life. Shirley worked for several different Hair Salons for many years and for numerous Hair Stylist throughout her professional career. HairVoyant was the final Salon she worked for before her illness set in on her and she was unable to perform what she always loved to do. Shirley also utilized her profession helping family and friends and whenever she was called up for the task she was always there.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Douglas Roland, father, James White, Sr., stepfather, Rufus Leslie Douglas, brothers, Thomas White, Kenneth White, and Robert Douglas.
