Stacey Matalyn Hatfield

Stacy Matalyn Hatfield was born November 24, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee.   After living a blessed life, she transitioned on Friday, May 26, 2023 at her residence in Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her father and Mother, Samuel Hatfield, Sr. and Mattie Couch Hatfield.

She began her worshiping experience as a young girl at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was very active in the church community. She considered her church parishioners family.

Stacey graduated from Father Ryan High School and received a B.A. from Tennessee State University. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her beloved brother, Samuel Hatfield Jr. whom she cared for and was completely devoted, cousins, her church family, and dedicated neighbors — like Mrs. Virgil Carter — who loved and looked out for her.
