Su Beard

SuChen Beard, age 77, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026. She was born on March 28, 1948, in Taipei, Taiwan. to her loving mother, MeiYun Shen, and her father. KunShu Shen.

SuChen later made her home in the United States. where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and community. She was united in marriage to William Beard on March 9, 1971, and from this union three children were born: ChnNe Beard (Dotson), MieJyh Beard, and MieNa Beard.

SuChen dedicated over 25 years of service to Metro General Hospital, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and reliability before retiring. She was also a beloved member of the Bordeaux Hills community, where she formed lasting friendships and connections.

She was preceded in death by her mother, MeiYun Shen, her father, KunShu Shen, and her son, YiKang Shen.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, ChnNe Beard (Dotson), MieJyh Beard, MieNa Beard and Ronnie Granberry (Sheila Granberry) her cherished grandchildren Ashley Beard, Larissa Dotson, Marcus Dotson, Amber Beard, Asia Peoples (Frank Peoples), William West, Kori West, and ; her dear best friend Jean Hammonds; along with a host of siblings, nieces. nephews, extended family. and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

SuChen Beard will be remembered for her strength, her devotion to her family, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the lives of all those she touched.
