Tela Shereece Vaughn

Ms. Tela S. Vaughn was born February 8, 1985 to Mrs. Ruthie Johnson and James W. Vaughn in Nashville, TN. She departed this life on February 22, 2026. God saw fit to call her to rest.

She was educated in the Metro Nashville Davidson County School System were she graduated from Maplewood High School and she had just enrolled into Nashville State Community College to get here degree in Culinary Arts.

Tela was known for her creativity, her talents in doing hair, her passion of cooking, being around her children and family. She loved to dance and joke around. Anybody that met her knew when they was around her she was going to leave you with a smile and a laugh.

She was preceded in death by her father James W. Vaughn. Sister Ann Vaughn, nephew Carlos Wills, Grandparents William and Ruthie Turner, Aunts Norma Moten and Erma Davis, uncle Clarence Blackburn and others that are gone before her

She leaves her life memories to be shared with her two beautiful children Jade and Jordan Shinault, mother Ruthie(Lawrence) Johnson, sisters; Carolyn Polk, Frances Littleton, Artina(John) Johnson, Patria Waggoner,
