Ms. Tewanna Michelle Stewart graced this world on September 29, 1965, in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born to the parents, Willie Adkins and Derri Alexander. She answered her call and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Metro General Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tewanna was educated in Nashville Davidson County Schools. She furthered her education by attending Tennessee State University majoring in nursing.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Tewanna was employed for over 25 years at St. Thomas Hospital. She enjoyed reading, watching sports.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Willie Atkins and James Stewart, sisters, Letonya Stewart and Cheryl McCurtie.
She leaves to cherisher her memories her loving son, Gary Stewart, loving and devoted mother, Derri Breedlove, step-mother, Linda Stewarts, granddaughters, Brooklyn Stewart and Aminah Freed, siblings, James (Marcia) Alexander, Devin (Tabitha) Stewart, Jamar Stewart, Lamont Alexander, Eureka (James) Jackson, Kita (Martiez) Patterson, Tatiana Williams, brothers, Maliak Atkins, Khalil Atkins, god sons, Jeremy (Jasmine) Finley, Tony Corley, grandson, Rodarius Bell, devoted nephew, Parviel Sanchez Eddins, aunts, Sherry Rucker, Sheila Rose, Catherine Bradford, Sherry Bradford, Beverly (Jeffrey) Stewart, uncles, Bobby Atkins, Morris Rucker, Jr., Moses Bradford, Darrell (Stacia) Bradford, Ronald (Kim) Steward, other devoted family and dear friend Stephanie Hammons other relatives and friends.
