Nashville - departed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 3:46am. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years Mary Louise Morrison-Murphy, loving son Theodore James Murphy, Jr., Sisters; Loretta Cox and Elnora Whitfield, three grandchildren. Also, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Viewing held on Thursday, September 10, 2020, 12-6 p.m. at Terrell Broady Funeral Home. Visitation Friday, September 11th 10-11a.m. with funeral to follow at Terrell Broady Funeral Home. Bishop Sherman Merritt, D.D., Eulogist.
