Tommie Lee Thomas

Tommie Lee Thomas was born on March 8^th, 1951 in Guthrie, Kentucky to the union of Beatrice Hoosier Thomas and Chester Thomas. He departed this earthly life on Monday, July 25^th, 2022 at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tommie was educated in Todd County Public Schools, graduating from Todd County Central High School in Elkton, Kentucky. After High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy, receiving an honorable discharge.

Tommie was employed for 30 years with Veterans Medical Center (V.A.), until his retirement, and he also work for ABM Services. He enjoyed fishing, watching T.V., and spending time with his loved ones.

Tommie was preceded in death by his son, Antonio Thomas, parents, Chester L. Thomas Sr., Beatrice B. Thomas, brother Chester L. Thomas Jr., and devoted sister, Mamie Buchanan.

He leaves to cherish his memories devoted companion, Jessie M. Dillard, children, Anthony Thomas, Dion (Tracey) Thomas, James W. (Toni) Thomas, Dan (Jerlena) Thomas, Garfield (Angela) Thomas, Willie L. (Marisa) Thomas, sister Lucy (William) Wilcox, Elizabeth (Lewis) Ohara, Marshell (Gonzalo) Ruffer, Lakissicy (Octavious) Burks, 3 grandchildren, stepson, Maurice Darrell, KeAnthony, sister-in-law, Elaine (Tim) Buchanan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
