Tory Allen Clark was born on October 22, 1968, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the union of Novara Clark and Thomas Ingle. He grew up in the Metropolitan-Davidson County school system and graduated from Maplewood High School. As a young man, Tory developed a love for sports, spending much of his time playing baseball, wrestling, and football. His adventurous spirit and sense of duty led him to enlist in the United States Navy, where he served honorably for a short period of time.
Tory later married the late Phyllis Brinkley, with whom he shared many cherished moments. He was employed at Consolidated Electrical Distributors, where he enjoyed his work and the camaraderie it provided. Outside of his job, Tory found joy in simple pleasures-family gatherings, watching football, and spending time fishing. His warmth, humor, and love of family made him a constant source of strength and joy for those around him.
Tory's life touched many, and his presence will be deeply missed. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Lesergio Wilson; grandchildren, Aliyah Wilson, Leasia Dunham, and Lesergio Wilson, Jr.; sisters, Donna (Walter) Whitworth and Vanessa Clark; brothers, Nathaniel Ingle, Thomas Clark, and Steven (Christie) Clark; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind his devoted friend, Michael DePriest; and companion, Elizabeth Baker. Tory's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in all who were blessed to know him.
