Velma Louise Rogers "Peanut"

Velma Louise Rogers was born on January 14, 1958 in Booneville, Mississippi to the union of Mozelle and Dave Rogers.  She entered into rest on September 24, 2022 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Velma received her formal education on Booneville, Mississippi, graduating from Booneville High School. She also attended Northeast Community College in Booneville Mississippi.

Velma was employed with and retired from General Motors, after 20 years of service, She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, socializing, shopping, and playing cards.

Velma was preceded in death by her parents, Mozelle and Dave Rogers, grandparents, Mattie Mae Rogers, Dave Rogers, brothers, Johnny Frank Garner- Tampa, FL., Quitman Richardson California, Robert “Duke” Garner Tampa, FL., Jimmy (Betty Jo) Rogers Baldwyn, MS., step sister, Deborah Gail Fields Nashville, TN., cousin (like a sister), Eva Bullock Beloit, WI.
