Vickie Reed

Vickie A. Reed was born August 21, 1956, in Nashville, Tennessee. She entered eternal rest on April 21, 2026, at home.

She was the beloved daughter of Robert Reed and Ruby Moore. Vickie received her education in the Metro-Davidson County Public Schools.

On August 27, 1988, she was united in marriage to Richard Reed. Vickie dedicated her working years to caring for others at St. Thomas West Hospital.

Vickie was known for her love of cooking and the joy she found in doing hair as a beautician. She also enjoyed relaxing while watching westerns. Her warmth, strength, and caring spirit will be remembered always by all who knew and loved her. She preceded in death by her sons, Carlos Reed, Roderick Reed; and parents.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband, Richard Reed; daughters, Monique (Camron) Howard, Latamarah (Adrian) Parrish, Ebony Cammon; grandchildren, Kendrick (Clayontas) Dunlap, Lebrendon Elliott, Kris(Samatha) Howard, Baryiah Browder, Essence Harris, Tariq Cammon; Devoted grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Amari Howard; sisters in law, Linda Redd, Bonnie Reed, Patricia (Anthony) Batey, Tami Cousins; sister in love, Alicia Wilson; cousins, Geraldine Hill, Charisse Haddox, devoted cousin, Michael Haddox; and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
