William Calvin Thompson, Jr.

Billy was born on December 21, 1954 to Bessie J. Wilmont and William C. Thompson Sr. He grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and attended Metro Public Schools including Stratford and Maplewood High Schools. Shortly after, he joined the Navy and received a Honorable Discharge. Later, he worked as a Security Guard and with Metro Schools as a Custodian, where he later retired.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted daughters, Tracey Houston, Arnethea (Reginald) Beasley, son, Percy (Leslie) Thompson, niece, Shemika Thompson, nephews, Keith Cossie, Ian Hayes, sisters-in-law, Judie Hayes, Candis (Devin) Hayes-Mercier, cousins, Angelic (Mike) Thompson, Charlene Wilmont, and Clifton Wilmont Jr. (Baltimore, MD.), Grandchildren, Kerry (Terri) James Jr., Jasmine (Ryan) James, Kristian (Pierre) McIntosh, Cierra Flynn, Taunteayana Thompson, Makayla Thompson, Aniyah Thompson, Ethan “PJ” Thompson, Eden Thompson, Isabella Thompson, Great-Grandchildren, Khari James, Shaniah Holt, Kanan Hudson, Karson Edmondson, Pierre McIntosh Jr., and Diamonte Gonzalez Jr., Devoted and Dear Friends, Kathy Bracey, Walter “Bubba” Sawyers, Jimmy Humphrey, Pat Monger, Gwen Sykes, Alandis Miller (Memphis, Tn.), a host of other relatives and friends.
