Willie Edward Jarrett, III

Willie Edward Jarrett, III was born on September 13, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois, to Willie Jarrett Jr. and Cheryl Jarrett. He departed this earthly life on March 27, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Edward Jarrett, Jr.

Willie (Wee-Wee), as he was affectionately known, was educated in the Chicago and Tennesse public school systems. After graduation, he attended school for auto-mechanics. Unfortunately, due to personal challenges, he could not complete the program. However, this didn’t stop his passion for working on vehicles. Willie planned to one day complete the program to become a licensed mechanic.

Willie confessed a hope in Christ Jesus at an early age and was baptized in Chicago, Illinois. He believed in Jesus Christ and believed that God would heal his body.

Willie was a fantastic person to be around. He brought nothing but smiles and laughter. He loved his family and friends. He had a heart for giving and helping others. If someone needed something that was within his abilities, he would say, “I got you,” and he kept his word.

Willie was a talented artist. He could look at pictures and draw them. This gift allowed him to do tattoos for many people. In addition, Willie found peace and joy when he engaged in his favorite hobbies, such as playing or watching basketball (Chicago Bulls was his favorite team), playing football, fixing cars, and spending time with family and friends.

Willie leaves to cherish his life’s legacy, a loving Mother, Cheryl Martin; Stepfather, Tony Ross; Stepdaughters, Jayden, and Jordyn Kirk; Siblings, Lance Turner (Lakyra), Cherrelle Martin (Austin), Terrell Ross, and Chernita Martin; Grandmothers, Mandy Junkins (Chicago, IL.) and Delores Jarrett (Alabama); Special Friend, Jenae Kirk; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and an excellent medical team.
