Zackary Lloyd Horsley, Sr.

Mr. Zachary Horsley, Sr. was born February 13, 1962 in Nashville, Tennessee to Perry Wynn and Lottie Mitchell. Zachary transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Monday, June 3, 2024 at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee.

Zachary received his formal education in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System. Zachary accepted Christ in his life at an early age.  He loved the Lord and made him a vital part of his daily life.

In October 1979 he was united in holy matrimony to Genie T. Williams. Zachary in his pastime enjoyed music, drums, cooking, but mostly being in the company of his family; he loved being a granddad.   He was very much loved. 

Those left to cherish his memories are his son, Zachary Horsley, Jr. (Zach Jr.) grandchildren, Ke” Zachary Horsley, Zakiyah Horsley, and Zacharyiah Horsley.; brother, Willie Mitchell; sisters, Linda English, Tiffany Mitchell; ex-wife, Genie Horsley; lifelong friend, Jeff Haskins; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and dear friends.
